Solving the Double-Line LED Neon Challenge
The most technically demanding part of the project involved the custom indoor LED neon signs.
The customer’s artwork required a clean double-line illuminated design. The spacing between the two lines needed to remain consistent, including around tight curves and detailed graphic sections.
During the initial prototype stage, our team discovered that standard-size LED neon flex could not accurately reproduce several smaller and more complex elements. In the curved sections, the space between the two illuminated lines was too narrow, making it difficult to achieve a smooth and consistent result.
Rather than simplifying the artwork or compromising the intended appearance, our engineering team conducted multiple rounds of prototype testing with different LED neon flex profiles.
After evaluating the available options, we selected a smaller-diameter LED neon flex. Its reduced size and greater flexibility made it possible to form tighter curves while maintaining more consistent spacing between the illuminated lines.
The final solution successfully reproduced the customer’s double-line design and delivered the clean, refined appearance required for the project.
